Chapter 160
Chelsea had grown up with few reasons for envy.
Born into a well-to-do family with loving parents and a supportive environment, she was naturally gifted.
She was the most cherished in her family, indulged in her desires, and lived a life where missteps would have been unsurprising.
Yet, she remained grounded, guided by someone she deeply respected.
Abad Lewellin, Chelsea’s older brother and the heir to the Lewellin family, was her guiding star.
Chelsea strived to both emulate Abad and support him.
Initially, she aimed to be a versatile expert like him, but she later realized her true talent lay in combat sorcery and shifted her focus.
Everything she did was in service of her future family and her brother.
Then, one day, she encountered a boy.
A boy with white hair, right alongside Celia Zerdinger, with whom she had always competed.
At first, she found him annoying, believing that his presence might hinder Abad’s rise to greatness.
But her perspective soon shifted.
The day she saw him tackling the impossible without hesitation captured Chelsea’s attention.
He resembled a hero from the fairy tales she had read as a child.
Leo’s very presence captivated her deeply.
Chelsea’s dream was never to become a hero herself.
Her admiration for heroes was driven by her desire to support her brother.
All her efforts until that point had been motivated by her wish to aid Abad.
Thus, Leo was the first boy who genuinely intrigued her.
‘I still respect my brother.’
Chelsea tightened her grip on her staff.
‘I still want to be a significant asset to my brother and our family.’
That desire remained unchanged.
‘But I can still pursue my own dreams, right?’
That boy had unknowingly settled in a corner of Chelsea’s heart.
The more she watched him, the more admiration she felt.
What began as admiration for Leo soon became a crucial part of her daily life, as significant a part of her mind as her respect for her brother.
‘Leo is just like a hero from a fairy tale.’
The girl who once only vaguely dreamed of becoming a hero herself had evolved.
‘My heart races when I see him.’
It felt as though she had stepped into one of the heroic tales she had only read about.
‘I want to be like Leo. Someone great who inspires admiration in everyone around them.’
Though not yet fully certain of the final goal yet, Chelsea was gradually and certainly envisioning her future.
Abad, observing from a distance, smiled warmly.
“Whoa. Your little sister sure is impressive, isn’t she?”
The class vice president of Class 8, Jurdoun, approached Abad, the president of the same class, and whistled in admiration.
“She really wasn’t too shabby, was she? Even though she’s a Battle Mage, she holds her own against Haviden in close combat.”
“That’s right. It’s astonishing how much she’s changed.”
Crash-crash-crash–!
Chelsea’s wind surged.
Whioooosh-!
The wind that swept beyond the training grounds tousled Abad’s hair.
‘Yes, Chelsea. The wind doesn’t blow in just one direction. You must be free. You can become anything.’
Abad smiled softly as he watched his younger sister pursue her dreams.
The female students around him gasped at Abad’s smile.
Abad glanced at Class 5.
Leo, resting his chin on his hand and observing Chelsea, caught his eye.
Abad knew that Leo’s appearance had been a significant factor in his younger sister’s transformation.
‘I’m a little jealous.’
Abad smirked and turned his attention back to Chelsea.
‘Show me how you’ve changed, Chelsea.’

Whoosh-!
“Whew!”
Haviden’s eyes widened.
Haviden, having readied his spear, swung the blade at Chelsea.
Crash-! Clang-!
Her wind Aura dispersed.
Chelsea’s staff intercepted Haviden’s attack.
“How audacious! A sorcerer trying to mimic a knight?!” Haviden shouted in anger.
Chelsea smirked back at him.
“Mimicking a knight? I’ve never tried that.”
Swoooooooosh-!
The wind sorcery swirled around Chelsea.
“I’m telling you, you can’t handle the wind like that.”
Chelsea’s movements echoed precisely what someone had once said to her.
Crash-!
“Huk!”
As Chelsea vanished from sight, Haviden took a deep breath and activated his Aura Armor.
Chelsea reappeared behind Haviden.
She drove her staff into Haviden’s back.
Whioooosh! Bang-!
Instantly, the wind shielding Haviden dissipated.
Chelsea narrowed her eyes.
“Wind Break!”
Crash-crash-crash-!
“Cough!”
Haviden, struck by the sorcery at close range, was hurled away with the spirit.
Wish-whish-whish-!
“Huh!”
Haviden’s eyes widened in disbelief.
‘Is she neutralizing my wind? How?’
Chelsea’s wind manipulation was far superior to Haviden’s.
Though he struggled to accept it, the truth was undeniable.
‘I don’t have enough Aura for this!’
Crash-crash-crash-!
The gusts from her Aura blew fiercely.
Yet, Chelsea used the wind to effortlessly deflect Haviden’s attacks, unperturbed.
“Uh, how?”
“I’ve dealt with those who wield far more powerful wind Auras than yours. This attack is laughable in comparison.”
Sparks of fury flickered in Haviden’s eyes as he looked down on Chelsea, who defiantly lifted her chin.
“Then try to block this!”
Rumbleeeeee-!
Aura crackled at the tip of Haviden’s spear.
Chelsea’s eyes darted as she observed the new threat.
Empowered by the wind, Chelsea repelled Haviden’s attacks without faltering, even as he rode the wind spirit.
The Knight Studies Department students watching were visibly stunned.
“Hey, is this even possible?”
“With that level of close combat skill, isn’t she nearly on par with anyone from the Knight Studies Department?”
It was well-known that Chelsea aspired to be a Battle Mage and had trained rigorously for close combat.
However, her close combat prowess was startling, even to the aspiring knights.
Her bold, direct approach to countering Haviden’s attack was extraordinary.
“Is she really a sorcerer?”
One of the Knight Studies Department students, looking puzzled, asked, “Class president! What kind of sorcery did you use on Chelsea?”
Eliana responded, her surprise evident. “I didn’t use any special sorcery,”
“Then?”
“We just trained hard together.”
It was well-known that Leo had been training with Chelsea since the beginning of the semester.
However, no one knew the extent of her training.
Until now, Chelsea’s sorcery abilities had been in the spotlight, leaving her close combat skills unshown.
That was understandable given the midterms, school trips, Majors Competition, mission practice, and internal departmental sparring.
None of these events had allowed Chelsea to fully display her close combat prowess.
But the second semester marked an opportunity to showcase all her abilities.
The results of her training with Leo over the past semester were now evident.
“Awesome.”
Eliana stared in awe at Chelsea.
Surprisingly, none of the Knight Department Students had ever considered Chelsea inferior in terms of hand-to-hand combat.
The issue was that Chelsea was a sorcerer.
‘If she started using sorcery seriously against us, it would spell disaster for the knight department students!’
Especially with the sparring evaluation looming, countless knight studies students were understandably nervous.
“T-this is ridiculous.”
“This is crazy.”
Chelsea sneered.
“There’s a lot out there. Have you been living under a rock?”
Chelsea slammed her staff into the ground.
Crash-crash-crash-crash-!
A tornado suddenly blew past.
Crash-crash-crash-crash-!
“Choke!”
Harviden, caught in her tornado, started spinning and shaking around, as if put into a washing machine.
Whoosh-!
Crash-!
Harviden covered his mouth as her magic disintegrated and he fell to the ground.
“Gag—! Uweeeeeh-!”
His world was still spinning, despite being firmly tethered to the earth.
Chelsea, who had laughed at Harviden’s miserable defeat, came down from the training grounds.
“Ooooh!”
“Chelsea! Chelsea!”
“Awesome! You’re so cool!”
“Small but mighty!”
Cheers erupted from the Lumene students.
The reaction was especially enthusiastic among the male students.
Chelsea was one of the most popular students among the female students.
She smiled confidently at her classmates’ reactions and made a peace sign before running towards Leo.
Sighs and murmurs of envy arose among the male students.
“Leo Plov.”
“That damn chick magnet!”
Chelsea stood before Leo with sparkling eyes and asked, “Leo! Leo! How was it? Did I do well? Was it great? Praise me like you did with Carr.”
Leo laughed heartily at Chelsea’s eager chattering and patted her head.
“Yeah, yeah. You did well. You’ve grown remarkably.”
“Hehehe.”
“You don’t need to train with me anymore, right?”
“Huh?”
Leo smirked.
“Watching that, I figured you’ve found your path.”
Chelsea appeared to have perfected her style as a Battle Mage.
She had reached a level where she could be called a proper sorcerer.
Chelsea looked flustered at Leo’s words.
“I-I’m still lacking! I have much to learn from you, Leo! So…I-I.”
“You want to keep training together?”
“Yeah!”
Chelsea nodded as Carr interjected from the side.
“Oh, Chelsea. Seeing your eagerness for that grueling training, I guess a few screws must’ve knocked loose at some point–”
“What nonsense are you talking about!”
Chelsea, eyes wide open, swung her staff at Carr’s side.
“Choke!”
Without hesitation, Chelsea kicked Carr, who was now writhing on the floor, holding his side.
Leo laughed heartily at the scene.
“Chelsea Lewellin!”
Haviden staggered closer, wiping his mouth.
He glared and gritted his teeth, struggling to endure the dizziness.
‘This is humiliating!’
It was the first time he had been so miserably defeated by someone his age.
Moreover, he had vomited in front of everyone.
As a prince and a knight hailed publicly as a genius, this was the first humiliation he had ever faced.
Haviden’s body trembled.
Rickitt ran over to support Haviden and let out a small sigh.
“What’s this? Need some help?” When Chelsea spoke in a cold tone, Haviden glared and shouted, “I admit defeat! This is my first time experiencing something like this!”
“Huh?”
“From today on, I’ll train hard to catch up with you!”
“You’re making me laugh. I couldn’t care less about what someone like you does,” Chelsea retorted, clearly annoyed.
“Whoa… Of course. You were overwhelmingly strong. But I’ll try to make you notice me someday!”
“Hey. Hehe- I think he’s in love with you.”
Carr, groaning while holding his side, snickered.
Chelsea stomped on Carr with a fierce expression.
“Yeah. I suppose I’m in love with you, just like Carr said.”
Chelsea frowned as she watched Haviden admit it so readily.
Booing erupted from Class 5.
“Oh~ As expected from our youngest. She’s even getting confessions in front of everyone.”
“Young love. How innocent.”
“I told you kids are cute.”
Chelsea smiled wickedly at the playful voices around her.
“You wanna go next?”
“Huh!”
Everyone scattered in shock.
Chelsea tried to chase after them but then saw Haviden and stuck her tongue out.
“If you want to confess to me, you at least have to become as strong as Leo!”
Haviden’s eyes widened, and he chased after the classmates who had teased him.
“You guys are dead!”
Screams erupted along with Chelsea’s fierce voice.
Haviden clenched his fists, watching Leo’s back as he approached to stop him.
“If only I catch up with that guy…!”
Observing Haviden, Carr, still holding his side in pain, got up.
“He doesn’t know anything.”
“What do you mean?”
“She’s telling him to become as strong as our class president.”
Next to him, Eliana clicked her tongue and wiggled her fingers.
“It’s like saying she’ll refuse to hear a confession like that for the rest of her life.”
Tide shrugged at Eliana’s words, smiling.
“Why bother looking at a tree you know you can’t climb.”
Haviden looked dumbfounded at their comments.
“No matter what, he’s just human, like me…”
“Human?”
Carr, Eliana, and Tide shook their heads.
“He’s different.”
Nella, with her signature languid smile, looked at Leo’s back and said, “Sometimes, he seems like he’s from another world.”
Haviden stared, dumbfounded, as he watched the Lumene students talk in unison.
‘How great is this guy?’
